One of the ways that we learn, grow and mature is through service. We learn by doing. We show our maturity, by learning to put the needs of someone else ahead of our own. The thing about serving others is that people can sometimes be difficult.
This means that we have to learn to navigate through a relationship with the most complex person that we will ever know… Ourselves. Let’s face it you are difficult, not in a negative; “you annoy me” kinda way, but in wonderful; very complex kinda way.
God created human beings in His own image and we learn that His ways are much different than ours. What God did in you is an undiscovered miracle.
Yet for some reason we think that we already know all there is to know about ourselves. Our acts of service are connected to our identity; one complements the other, knowing one defines the other.
At Living Hope church we believe that God calls all of us to serve one another. We also believe that we should learn how God has made us. This way we can find an area of service. As a church we both participate in acts of service we also support ministries around the world. From our connection with the state-wide ServeFest Event to our connection with OneRipple.
